What: Strolling Performers bring Holiday Magic to Winterfest on Toronto's Waterfront

Where: Queen's Quay Terminal

When: Saturday December 13, Sunday December 14 & Saturday December 20 | Sunday December 21, 12pm – 3pm

Queen’s Quay Terminal will be full of holiday magic during Winterfest on Toronto’s Waterfront. Keep an eye out for the Lollipop Princess (Dec 13, 14, 20) or the Candy Cane Princess (Dec 21 only), whose dresses are made of tasty treats that will be distributed to the kids. Watch the balloon artist create masterpieces or have your face painted by the sensational face painter. Explore a new world of magic as Orion the Magician takes you out of reality and into the Art of Magic, a world of mystery, intrigue, laughter and fantasy..

What: The Polar Express 3D – A Family Favourites Presentation

Where: PArticipating Cineplex Theatres  (See locations list here)

When: Saturday, Decemeber 13, 11am At Select THea

It doesn't matter where the train is going. What matters is deciding to get on.

Late on Christmas Eve, after the town has gone to sleep, a boy boards the mysterious train that waits for him–The Polar Express.

Based on the classic Christmas story by Chris Von Allsburg.

What: Meet a Real Sledding Dog Team

Where: Purina Pawsway, 245 Queens Quay W., Outdoor Front Patio.

When: Saturday, December 13, Sunday, December 14 (11am-5pm) & Saturday, December 20 & Sunday, December 21 (11am-5pm)

This is your chance to meet and have your picture taken with a real dog sledding team during Winterfest on Toronto’s Waterfront! Visitors will be able to have a quick ‘pat and chat’ with Tanya Hawley and her authentic sled dogs and see various items used in dog sledding! Visit www.pawsway.ca for more details. What: Toronto Christmas Market

Where: The Distillery District

When: Tuesday to Friday, 12noon to 9pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 9pm – Until Dec 21.

A Christmas market is a street market which celebrates the traditional sights, sounds and scents of Christmas and is staged during the weeks leading up to Christmas. These markets originated in Germany, beginning in the early 1400's, and are now being held in countries all over the world.

There is a ton to see and do with your family cinluding Santa's House, Carolers, Lifesize gingerbread house, shopping, food vendors, hot chocolate, a free Kinder Smile booth, ferris wheel, carousel and more. A must see.

Cost: Entry is FREE, cost inside varies depending on vendor.
