What’s in Your Neighbourhood? D.I.Y. Preschool Scavenger Hunt

July 14, 2014momstownCraftNo comments
If your house has fans of Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood on Kids’ CBC, you know that Daniel invites kids into his world and adventures. Here’s a great scavenger hunt printable to go out and explore your neighbourhood.

Next time you're going outside, why not grab this simple scavenger hunt to make your walk even more fun? And not only is it fun, but scavenger hunts are a really great way to encourage kids to observe and talk about the environments around them.

DID YOU KNOW?  Daniel Tiger's Neighbourhood was created to build on the legacy of Mister Roger's Neighbourhood for a whole new generation of children.  The series’ stories were written based on extensive input from a wide range of early learning specialists, formative research with children and the benefit of more than 40 years of the work of Fred Rogers.  Entertaining, and good for you.
