Inspired by one of our favourite books, The Family Book by Todd Parr, here’s a fun activity sheet for your kids to draw pictures of their family.
It is adorable when young kids learn the word "family", they'll use it all the time because its a word that finally allows them to give a name to that group of people that are so very important to them.
As kids get a bit older and start interacting with other children at daycare, school, playgroups, they learn that there are different kinds of families and can talk more meaningfully about what makes your family special.
