What is momstown? We're Canada's orginial national mom network who exist both online and in-person. To a member, momstown is a really organized, modern moms group!
Odds are when you were growing up your mom knew all of your neighbours. Sadly, you probably don't know yours. Although some social conventions have changed, what hasn’t is the need to connect with other local mothers. "They" say it takes a village to raise a child. We say it takes a town. Who resides in the town we fondly call momstown? Well, it’s moms like you.
Founded in August 2007 by moms from Burlington, Ontario, and brought to Toronto in 2009, momstown has found a niche within our 16 regional communities by providing moms with consistent activities and daily encouragement. momstown uses our website and social media to connect with moms but main our goal is to get moms off the computer and out of the house!

momstown Toronto coordinates many exclusive events monthly for our members. momstown has a teacher developed educational curriculum focused on early learning and early literacy. Events are weekday, weekend and also include regular evening events for mama only! As part of momstown you'll enjoy events like:
- Monthly themed events with circle time & crafts based on our 5 year momstown curriciulum
- Field Trips (Trips to the Farm, Zoo, Fire Hall etc)
- Special Trial classes (music, yoga, sign language...)
- Mom Night Out (dinner, book club, parenting seminars creative outings..)
We have national strategic partnership with Kids CBC, Scholastic Canada, Canadian Red Cross and local organizations like the Ontario Early Year Centres and Toronto Library - we work together to promote early education and promote community building.

Ann-Marie Burton, the mama owner of momstown, is an active member and provides assistance to all Community "momstown mamas". momstown’s focus is on neighbourhood connections and our Community Managers help each regional chapter grow and adapt with its own members, area and needs.
Our Toronto team will be led by a team of 3 Community Managers to bring together your local Toronto neighbourhoods and warmly welcome you to join in. Come live, laugh, learn and relax with us.
Won't you be our neighbour? ;)

Toronto East - Community Manager
Like Carrie, I am also new here... but, I must say that I feel that I live in the best part of the city! Toronto's East End sucked me in over 3 years ago and I plan on growing old retiring right here in the Beaches... hopefully sooner than later. ;)
I am excited to be a part of the growth and expansion of Momstown across Toronto. I initially fell in love with the idea of Momstown 3 years ago, but there was no chapter in my area and I was unable to commit to anything outside of my girls and my new business. My girls are growing (along with my business) and I feel it is the perfect time for me to take part of this exciting adventure with the momstown team.
My daughters are 4 & (almost) 6. They keep me smiling... even when they frustrate me, they know a simple little bum wiggle will get me to smile again. I love nothing more than to watch them grow and learn. They are becoming such wonderful little ladies and they are best friends to each other. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family.
